Seraphim form 1.0

LOREMillions of stories about our universe are told everyday. Sometimes they
are stories to inspire, other times they are stories so we don’t forget. Then
there are the rare few that do both, and at the same time, are something
more.
Allow me to tell you one of these stories. A story of Moony, an Angel Fox of
the Moon.
Many moon cycles ago, the night was once a dangerous and chaotic place.
Many were left to fend for themselves, forced to either hide or run as those
stronger than them took all they could carry in their claws.
That is until Moony stepped up and, despite her naturally kind and shy
demeanor, brought order to the land. With her cunning wit and sharp fangs,
she made those who preyed on the weak think twice as the protector of the
night.
And so, for millennia, the night prospered and flourished under Moony’s
watchful eye.
As time passed, those shadows that were defeated by Moony came up with
a scheme to overthrow Moony and have her punished for wronging them.
Consumed by vengeance, they were determined to watch Moony fall from
grace.
On a cloudless night, Moony looked up in the sky and smiled at the moon.
As she blinked, it suddenly disappeared, and in another moment, it
reappeared in shattered pieces.
Moony quickly flew to the sky and to the fractured moon. She looked at the
fragments in confusion and bewilderment. Who could have done such a
horrible act?
Before she could investigate, the Seraphim Tribunal transported her to their
court in chains. She was on trial for doing the unthinkable, destroying the
moon.
The Seraphim Tribunal did not allow her to speak one word as they
presented pieces of evidence, one after another, that connected her to the
crime.
And so, despite her pleas of innocence and her cries that she was framed,
the Seraphim Tribunal enacted their sentence.
For the destruction of the moon in an attempt to overthrow the Seraphim
Tribunal through a veil of darkness, they would be cast out to the far
reaches of the universe.
As tears ran down her face, angels chained her to the new moon, now held
together with stardust, to spend an eternity as a fallen angel for her crimes.
Much time has passed since her exile, and during that time there was a
horrific war that left the realm torn asunder. In the wake of the war, the
Seraphim Tribunal was no more. As such, Moony’s shackles faded away.
Moony, for the first time in a long time, stretched her wings and looked at
the new night sky. This unfamiliar sky was made of new stars and new
planets that were made from the ruins of the old. Amongst the ruins, Moony
saw something that glowed a beautiful amethyst. As she cleared away
some of the debris of the deceased moons, she saw it was a gemstone. As
she picked it up,she felt a surge of power writhing inside her. She could
feel the very essence of the universe course within her veins. In a blink,
she was transported to one of those many new worlds that have formed.
As she touched the ground of this new world, strange animals looked at
her in awe. Moony stood still, unsure of how to react. And for a moment,
everything was quiet, except for a warm breeze.
The smallest of the strange animals came up to her and began touching her
wings and her tail. They exclaimed, “Fox!”, “Angel!”, as they laughed and
smiled. Moony smiled also, as she began to glow out of happiness.
Soon a Purple haired lady approached Moony and slowly
with caution touched her horns. The wise lady exclaimed, “Hope”, and
then began to bow.
Moony would learn that this new world was called Selúne, and these
strange people were Selúniens.
Moony sighed a breath of relief as she could start anew and let her kind
and gentle show grow. She can show this world great things and bring
happiness to their lives.
She may have a lot of growing to do, but with a smile on her face, she is
ready. More than ever.
